The goal is to generate steady passive income from the rental income and to build long-term wealth through appreciation in the property's value. Buy-and-hold requires less work and expertise than flipping, but it requires more patience and a long-term investment horizon. Additionally, investors need to be prepared to deal with issues that arise with tenants and maintenance.

 

Ultimately, the choice between flipping and buy-and-hold depends on an investor's goals, skills, and risk tolerance. Flipping can provide quick returns but requires a high level of expertise and a tolerance for risk.
